I agree so much for a price cut anytime soon. They will likely want to take some profits after the chip size reductions, so a price cut would not come until December at the earliest.
However, if MS cuts the price of the 360 in the US and its sales go bullistic while PS3 sales fall, then Sony maybe pressured to cut the PS3 price sooner.

F2 is more an all around masterpeice, you can do so much more in that game, it does things that this demo can't even fathom.
The only thing this game does better is looks, it seems to be prettier.
The main reason most of the folks I know are buying GTA on 360 is because most multiplatforms run better on 360, Achievments, and all thier friends are on XBL, plus XBL is better for finding folks to game with, and easier to coordinate and communicate once you start playing.

360 sales have doubled since the price drop over there, chances are PS3 is no longer outselling it, the margin was tiny in most cases anyway.

original point, we do not know if the 360 is being outsold in its homeland as of this month or last, we have to wait and see. I will say this, I noticed 360s back in stock at local retailers, but only in small numbers last month, they are still selling out days after getting a few units in stock. So technically MS still has an excuse if they do not outsell PS3 in this months NPD.
But that was in SOME parts of Europe, where they hate America and most of what comes out of it. PS3 would outsell 360 even if 360 were free in those places LOL!
But not here, cut the price of the premium by just 50 bux and PS3 is back down to being outsold 100,000 a month.
